An ultrageometric spurless sans, with dot-shaped bars in ‘AEFGHQ’. No lowercase, but with extending alternates for ‘AFHIJKLMNPRTUVWXY14690’. Despite the name, Burko Circle probably wasn’t an official member of the Burko series by Headliners. It’s rounder in design and also isn’t shown in their c.1977 catalog. A dry-transfer adaptation is shown by Transfertech, a subsidiary of Castcraft [Design, Nov. 1978]. Not yet shown in Castcraft’s 1978 Encyclopedia of Phototype Styles [Castcraft 1978]. A phototype version is shown by Dan X. Solo [Sans Serif Display Alphabets, 1979].
Not included in the digital version of Burko by Treacyfaces.
