A phototype interpretation of a French Clarendon, with lowercase. Distinguished by a ‘Q’ with descending tail, ‘g’ with vertical ear, ‘ijk’ with two-sided top serifs. Shown by Lettergraphics as Abilene [Lettergraphics 1968–1975] and by Castcraft as Bowie or, in the index, as Bowie, Boots and Saddle [Castcraft 1978]. Used already in 1967.
