Issued by Figgins c. 1883 as Memorial [Gray 1976]. Other sources give the name as Memorials, carried by (Figgins successor) Stevens, Shanks [Reichardt 2011].
Various alternates including swash/descending forms for ‘emnA’ and Roman-style forms for ‘AEMNSU’. Some design details are considerably different across the sizes. Some capitals follow the round Gothic style known as Lombardic capitals. In addition to mixed-case use, specimens suggest the pairing of caps with smaller caps from a different size [1923 R.H. Stevens specimen].
Lettres Jensoniennes is a version cast by Beaudoire which has (added?) italic and open styles.
