Inspired by the types used for the Nowy karakter polski from 1594 by Jan Janus­zows­ki et al. Started as diploma the­sis at the Warsaw Acad­e­my of Fine Arts. The family con­sists of four styles: Ital­ic and Up­right Ital­ic are based on Janus­zowski’s types used for contemplat­ing Polish or­thography, Reg­u­lar (shown) is an interpretation of the roman used by Janus­zows­ki for Latin tex­ts, and Lazarus Fraktur is an inter­pre­ta­tion of the My­tel Pol­s­ki that was also used in the book.
