“MN Latin” (not an official name) is a humanist sans serif with stroke contrast that vaguely resembles a serifless version of Times New Roman.
Muthu Nedumaran at Murasu Systems developed several Indic fonts which are bundled with some versions of Apple’s macOS. This Latin design is used for the following families: Bangla MN, Gurmukhi MN, Kannada MN, Khmer MN (used for sample, and has some differences, such as ball terminals), Lao MN, Malayalam MN, Myanmar MN, Oriya MN, Sinhala MN, Tamil MN, Telugu MN.
Other Indic fonts from Murasu use the Sangam MN Latin.
