Lineto’s “reappraisal” of Rudolf Koch’s 5-line Prisma,
started by James Goggin, Rafael Koch and Mauro Paolozzi in 2003,
and designed with help by Arve Båtevik, Laurenz Brunner, Jon Hares,
Alex Rich and Cornel Windlin. First released as
Prismaset in June 2016 in ten variants: Five, Three,
Two (5-line, 3-line, 2-line; each with and without crossing lines),
One (monoline), Outline, Stencil, Solid – with a lowercase derived
from old Kabel
drawings. When ten more styles were added in 2019, the existing set
was named Prismaset A, with the new one known as
Prismaset B, comprising Inline, Fatline, Carved (with
AM and PM variants), Crystal, Diamond, Ebony, Ivory, Contrast. All
twenty styles were merged into LL Prisma in June 2023,
now with matching Cyrillics designed by Viktoriya Grabowska. The
sample shows a mix of styles.
