Started as Aurèle Sack’s diploma project at ÉCAL in 2004. Further developed in 2008. Sack won the Swiss Design Award with his presentation of “Fifty Shades of LL Grey” in 2014. Released in November 2018. Expanded in May 2021 with Cyrillic (with Viktoriya Grabowska), Greek (with Panos Haratzopoulos), and a monospaced version, see LL Grey Mono.
