AKA Lichte Metropolis. A variation of Metropolis fett (bold) with a double inline, first cast by Stempel as all-caps style in 1928. Also cast by Caslon as Metropolis Shaded. “Homewood is a recutting by Baltimore Type of Metropolis Lined [i.e. Lichte Metropolis] […] It was made from a large size of Metropolis Bold with the fine white lines cut in, and differs from the original in minor details of the curves.” [McGrew]
