Origin uncertain, but appears in Face Photosetting catalogs (UK, c.1986 & France, 1987) as Sauce and in Solotype’s Art Deco Display Alphabets (1982) as Mindy Highlight.

Digitized in 1993 by Rick Mueller as Ink Highlight (used for sample). Bright Ideas’ Midnight is a digital interpretation with added lowercase. Device’s Gusto Highlight is a possible homage.
