Designed by Wilhelm Jaecker, Jaecker-Schrift was first cast by Stempel in 1910, followed by halbfett (1911), mager, and eng styles (1912). [Reichardt] There is also a set of accompanying swash initials, ornamental borders, decorative elements (Zierrat) and vignettes. At least the bold comes with swash terminal forms for ‘n’ and ‘t’. [Alphabete Ornamente specimen by Typogr. Vereinigung Leipzig] The release notes from 1912 mention that an italic was in preparation.
There are digital interpretations of the regular style by Petra Heidorn/Moorstation (better outlines) and Lindenthal (with ligatures, used for the sample).
