Fotostar offered 2″ film fonts under the name Sun. TypeShop created the first digital version and Elsner+Flake licensed it under the name Digital Sans.
Canada Type released Sol Pro in 2010 with “optical improvements to the original design, more weights [5 weights in 2 widths], italics, small caps, biform shapes, alternates, and extended language support.”
