Designed by Herman Ihlenburg and first cast by MacKellar, Smiths & Jordan in 1874. The original metal type came in solid and open styles, with different levels of detailing across the sizes.
Revived by Rebecca Alaccari and Patrick Griffin (Canada Type, 2006), as a set of 23 styles, including solid and three open variants (Silver, Gold, Platinum), each with alternate fonts, plus such that can be combined in layers for chromatic effect. Also available as a single OpenType font, Treasury Pro.
