Designed by Teruoki Yagi [Oka]. Part of the large Yagi family released on Robert Trogman’s FotoStar label in the late 1960s to early ’70s. Yagi Double is a biline/inline variant.

Digitizations include Alan Prescott’s New Yagi Bold (APT, 1996, used for sample), Retro Mono Wide (Gus Thessalos, 2010), and DXS Yagi Bold (Dick Pape, 2010, based on a showing in Dan X. Solo’s Art Deco Display Alphabets, Dover, 1982).
