Shown in an undated Schaedler catalog in Regular, Outline and Shadow styles and credited to Ray Cruz. “Inspired by the Bill Cosby TV show cartoon character”. [Cruz] Castcraft’s Encyclopedia (1978) shows three styles as Leo Solid, Leo’s Bones (outlined), and Leo’s Ghost (outlined w/ solid South shadow, like Fat Albert) and mentions Dorsch as another alias. Not to be confused with Lettergraphics’ Fat Albert.

Revived in 2004 by Cruz himself for Bitstream in all three styles.
