“Central Park can be intimidating to navigate for even the most seasoned New Yorkers. Enormous, complex, and lacking in much wayfinding, we saw the park as the perfect challenge to create a wayfinding app that would make sense of the wilderness. But first, we had to tackle the gargantuan task of creating a detailed survey of the park, including its many landmarks, buildings, roads, stairways, playgrounds, restrooms, and surrounding transit stops.

A detailed directory of possible destinations helps users not only find something they’re looking for, but discover hidden gems. After selecting a destination, users will see the best route possible with detailed directions, based on their GPS location. With the accessibility setting enabled, directions are adjusted to include only handicap accessible pathways and entrances.” — W&Co.
