Wenn die Beine Kopf stehen
The book Wenn die Beine Kopf stehen is a practical guide to educate and to raise awareness about RLS (Restless legs syndrome, also known as Willis-Ekbom disease), a neurological disorder characterized by an irresistible urge to move one’s body to stop uncomfortable sensations. The book was published by the German ProkonVerlag during the summer of 2015.
The concept and design of the publicacion was developed by Liane Zimmermann, Sandra Hachmann and Boris Kochan with Irene Plümer-Müller as project manager, from the Munich based agency Kochan & Partner. The physicality of the book plays an important role in the publication, color, paper and textures, are carefully selected. The same consideration applies to the choice of typefaces; Abril Titling for large and striking headlines, Adelle and Ronnia, serif and sans-serif respectively, for headlines and long passages of text in different sections.
The result is a vivid, colourful book full of hope.
