Founded in Marlboro, Massachusetts, in 1863, the Frye Company has a long history of crafting durable leather goods with serious style. Frye boots have been worn by everyone from cowboys to co-eds, their prominence in the American footwear landscape a testament to the company’s commitment to quality and cool.
In tandem with doubling its brick-and-mortar retail footprint last year, Frye relaunched its online storefront, and recently revamped the site’s typography. Engraver’s face Sweet Sans makes an impression in titling, heads, navigation, and text, balanced by Druk in heavyweight highlight mode and the delicate serif counterpoint of Chronicle Deck.
