“Per Què Catalunya Crema” (Why does Catalonia burn?) is the title of a special feature about preventing, managing and extinguishing wildfires for more than 50 years in Catalonia, designed for Ara, a multi-platform daily newspaper based in Barcelona. It is an example of new multimedia narratives developed for Ara as the pioneering media company in this space in Spain.
The whole copy is set in various weights of Soho Gothic, the main typeface of the newspaper’s digital edition. The headline is set in the seriffed Soho Compressed Ultra.
