Booklet published by the Museum of London in 1973. We bought it in 1974 and it was quite a shock to me to read about Mosley and the fascists in London during the 19Thirties. However the British Union of Fascists never won a seat in parliament. For local elections in East London they won 19 per cent of the vote. SIR Oswald Mosley was arrested in May 1940 and his party was banned.
