Thanks for the contribution, Matthew! Can you tell us more about why you feel it was important to use Graphik despite its similarities to the iOS system typeface, San Francisco? I think it was the right call, as it does have its own look and provides branding continuity with the Letterboxd website – which switched to Graphik from Freight Sans in 2013(?) – but I’d like to hear your take.

Thanks Stephen. The choice was mostly about brand continuity, but also the screen designs were done before San Francisco was announced as the new iOS typeface! We’ve begun the process of switching the Letterboxd website over to Graphik and Tiempos in a mini-refresh — a few pages have already switched, and the balance of the work is nearing completion.
