    1. You’ve been had. This is a font sample image from Matthew Carter’s Wikipedia page, and has been since 2007.

      Done by Jim Hood, who did most of the Wikipedia font sample images. He mostly stopped editing in 2012, before I started contributing there.

    2. Haha! How embarrassing. Right you are. I certainly recognize that Wikipedia format now, but I was obviously unaware at the time of this FIU entry. Can’t decide whether to leave this up or pull it, but perhaps the graphic itself is a worthy use. It would be great if the organizers did actually reproduce a large version as a poster for the event.

    3. Well, he never seems to have got round to doing a high-res png or an svg version of it, so the only version they would have had is a 468 × 553px. So I hope they didn’t try blowing that up to a poster…
