Le Tigre is an independent, non-commercial generalist magazine, distributed in kiosks and bookshops. Le Tigre was founded by two authors, Lætitia Bianchi and Raphael Meltz, in 2006. Journalists, photographers, designers, writers and academics participate in Le Tigre. In line with the great press adventures of the last thirty years (Actuel, L’Autre Journal), Le Tigre offers a singular look, contrary to the ambient standardization. It’s distinguished by its eclecticism: long reports of writers, geopolitical articles, pamphlets, press drawings, portfolios in photo, criticisms of consumption … Le Tigre uses only open-source software.
