Camille Boileau designed the new identity of Le Fil, a SMAC (Scène de musiques actuelles, concert venue for contemporary music) in Saint-Étienne. Surt’s alternates are used for the headlines and the classic version for plain texts. The logo is custom designed based on the font family.

The whole concept revolves around the principle of “place of life”. The red ribbon is a graphical element derived from the building itself. It was designed based on the architectural plans of the place and becomes the main graphical element of the new identity.
The flowers mark the tenth anniversary of Le Fil and are inspired by the famous local ribbon industry. The flourishing patterns hint at the new perspectives for Le Fil and announce its new ambitions for the years to come.
