Illustration by Jack Davis (1924–2016), a founder of and long-time contributor to Mad. Davis also worked on several other album covers by Ben Colder — an alias of Sheb Wooley (1921–2003). The typeface is Grange, originally issued by the Miller & Richard foundry in Edinburgh, Scotland around 1900.
