NSW transport signs
Miles Newlyn’s New Frank in use for the signs at Circular Quay station, Circular Quay Ferry Wharves and other NSW stations in Sydney, Australia.
Following the commencement of their new identity program in 2011, the New South Wales (NSW) transport service in Sydney, Australia, started tests in order to roll out a new public transport wayfinding system, that integrates wayfinding within the stations (e.g. wayshowing, signs) and wayfinding via travellers’ devices (e.g. apps). A concise process presentation can be found on the NSW website.
Blue Sky design group were enlisted to produce the wayfinding and signage documentation for several key train stations. A “Kit of Parts” was developed and used for complementary wayfinding signage on other stations.

Thank you for this additional info, Michael, much appreciated! So Maynard developed the transport wayfinding system identity, and Blue Sky Blue carried out the signage wayfinding design for several key train stations. I’ve added Maynard to the design credits.
What about the actual TfNSW & Sydney Metro logo?
That would be Gotham.
The font is actually used for the route number on some LED bus destination screens in Sydney too.
