    JazzWerkstatt Wien was founded in 2004 with the ambition to establish a professional platform for the creation and presentation of music by young composers, musicians, and ensembles (Jazz, Improvisation, Composition). It is a music festival, a collective and a music label (JazzWerkstatt Records) that in 2018 wanted to appear as barefaced, independent and forward-thinking as possible in the Viennese music scene.
