The Bauhaus worked as the union of the arts and crafts school with the fine arts school. This fusion was the main feature of the German school where design evolved to become a profession without forgetting the craft. The Bauhaus was the turning point between design as a workshop and what a design studio is. The Bauhaus was the creator of the profession as well as the designer.
The theater under the direction of Oskar Schlemmer was the place where everything that happened in the school was shown and is undoubtedly the source where I sought to understand more about the method proposed by the school.
Once again Oskar helped me to design my tribute for the 100th anniversary of the school where I imagine how the man of the logo drawn by Schlemmer would look like a century later.
The font in use is the Light Square style of Julien. I chose this typeface because it solves the look and feel of the Bauhaus school. Why design some letters when there is a full font that does the job?
