Core77.com is a design magazine and resource. Its current logo is set in Blaktur (Ken Barber, 2007) – tightly spaced and with a rounded outline. Previous versions included a cursive one in House Script – with a painfully stretched ‘or’ connection, and a Western-style one in Thunderbird – with a slight skew.

    1. Patch called my attention to an interesting detail: Usually, typefaces from House Industries can’t be used for logos offhandedly. Their EULA states that “[a] special license is required to use the House Font Software in logo design”. Core77 apparently got dispensation from that clause.

    2. Core77 now has a custom-drawn logo … by Ken Barber, designer of Blaktur and House Script.
