Mollesse Carrée exhibition catalog

Exhibition catalog for a show by Alexis Jamet and Manon Cezaro at Bleu gallery, Paris.

After a year of common practice, Mollesse Carrée (“squared softness”) is a natural continuation of their work as a duo. During the past months Alexis and Manon produced drawings, paintings and editions. (…) The exhibition “Square Mollesse” brings them together this time around by their common interest in motifs through landscapes and abstract compositions. (…). Having so far only shown their common work through reproducible editions, this exhibition is an opportunity for them to confuse original and impressions.

I really chose Favorit – a strict design with subtle oddities – for the cover typography, and then used it for the interior as well. The drawing of the uppercase R caught our eye, as the counterspace of its legs form a rounded square, fitting perfectly with the title of the exhibition.
