An album of hymns recorded by American vocal group The Mariners and released in 1956. Cover illustration by Robert J. Velde, who was art director at Columbia Records in the 1950s and went on to do sports illustrations for publications such as Sports Illustrated. [Discogs]
The serif typeface is Egmont, designed by Sjoerd de Roos and first issued by Lettergieterij Amsterdam in the 1930s. It’s paired with amply spaced caps from Futura.
