The design of the book Art & Us is an allusion to artist’s sketches, a notebook full of technical drawings. To enhance this effect, each page of the book has been specially designed with stylistic textures. By incorporating this principle in the book, we managed to reveal what lies behind the final result. “Art” as in the final work of the artist, whereas ”Us" represents the hard work of the author.

Art & Us uses interstitial pages – photographs of art foundation exhibitions on natural, rough, yellow paper to remind us that it is an archival material. The book consists of two parts: a numbered main “sketchbook” that contains only artworks, background textures and a mini-book that lists all the artworks. For clarity reasons we used transparent, large pages in the main book “sketchbook” as markers which assist readers and help them understand which particular artworks are represented in the book.
