Foam magazine #55, “Talent”
Foam is an international photography magazine, connecting a global network of photographers, photography enthusiasts and professionals. The magazine is a publication of the Foam Fotografiemuseum Amsterdam and serves as a platform for all kinds of photography: from documentary to fashion and contemporary to historic, featuring both world-renowned image makers and relatively unknown emerging talent.
The annual Foam Magazine Talent Issue of 2020 and the related Talent Programme, supported by the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation and the Niemeijer Fund, is using Cosi Azure from Nikolas Type in multidisciplinary media from the Talent Call website (design: Ayumi Higuchi) and various promotional video animations, to print.
In issue #55 of the magazine itself, Cosi Azure is paired with Haarlem (Edition Studio) along L15 Medium (Or Type) in beautiful use, featuring a golden hot foil embossing on the cover, bronze printed inside pages, and an exposed binding. Art direction by Hamid Sallali.
