Ryumin (リュウミン) and Yutsuki 36 point Kana (游築36ポ仮名) were used for the Japanese text.

They used Ryumin for the Chinese characters and Yutsuki 36 point Kana for the Japanese kana characters.

Yes, Dainippon Screen is a former name of theirs.
Shogo indicates size. It’s about 14.76 mm.
Yutsuki 36 point kana is based on a 36 point typeface designed by 築地活版製造所 (Tsukiji Kappan Seizosho). Yutsuki Shogo Kana is based on a shogo-sized typeface also designed by them. (To be precise, actually, Jiyu-kobo might have used another typeface by another foundry, which is based on the Shogo typeface by Tsukiji Kappan Seizosho, as a reference.)
