Established in 1895, Heijkens offers printing and engraving services, sign and stamp making, paper and packaging. Their current shop sign probably dates from the 1970s or 1980s. On Twitter, Isoletters comments:

This is an interesting case of #DutchIJ. The name of the shop (owner) is Heijkens – but the makers of the sign used the Y glyph of the typeface (Mecanorma Contest or some version thereof). Works fairly well, I think, as the glyph is shaped similarly to a classic ‘IJ’ ligature.
