Here’s another use of Lettres Art Nouveau, from 1970. Coincidentally, it’s also linked to Scotland. In that post, I’ve added a bit of the history of this alphabet.
Certainly, not what I would call beautiful.
Ugh, how frustrating. Assuming drawing an & in the style wasn’t an option, I would have suggested that it wouldn’t be too hard to assemble a matching + from bits of the other letters.
