Since 2005, the Birmingham-based maestro Mark E has continuously blessed the international discotheque community with carefully constructed dance trap. The Outdoor Pursuits EP is his Studio Barnhus debut, released in February 2020. It contains four perfect exemples of the Brummie genius’ warm, reduced signature sound.
The sleeve artwork draws inspiration from 1960s Op Art, while the label artwork has been inspired by vintage Scratch n’ Sniff stickers from the early 1980s, together creating a juxtaposition of pop art from two decades. Frankfurter is used for the main titles. For the song titles, Times Ten is used.
