Blippo Black is the font used for the title card in the opening credits of The Jeffersons. The setting shows different forms for the letters J F S than the digital Blippo Black does. These glyphs were available in the phototype and dry-transfer versions as alternates, though.

    From Wikipedia:

The Jeffersons is an American sitcom television series that was broadcast on CBS from January 18, 1975, to July 2, 1985, lasting 11 seasons and a total of 253 episodes. The Jeffersons is one of the longest-running sitcoms, the second-longest-running American series with a primarily African American cast (surpassed in 2012 by Tyler Perry’s House of Payne by one episode, though The Jeffersons ran for more seasons), and the first to prominently feature a married interracial couple.

The show was created by the producing team of Nicholl-Ross-West and developed by influential producer Norman Lear.

The font choice was picked up for the Deee-Luxe Edition of a box with DVDs of the complete series from 2014. While the wordmark is directly digitized from the original, the secondary text is set in digital Blippo Black, with different forms for F and S.
