Since 2010 the aim of Arteco has been to study and enhance Italian cultural heritage starting from cataloging and digitising campaigns; to creating networks for collaborations between public and private organisations; promoting contemporary art research and generating a network aimed at an audience of experts. It also supports a new generation of artists, identifying them as essential to the renewal of today’s society.

Starting from Arteco’s dualistic identity we designed and developed a content centered website combining fonts Neue Helvetica and Amiri. The highly intuitive customised user experience quickly drives the web-flow to the desired material through two main sliding information menus, gallery layouts and clear typography.

Headlines are set in Neue Helvetica Bold Condensed. Body text uses Crimson – or, to be precise, the text is set in Amiri, which uses Crimson Prime, a redrawn version of Crimson Text as its Latin-alphabet part.
