I’ve been searching for the Art Deco Yashashi they used for the titles and poster for some time. I absolutely love this dissection of the typefaces used for the campaigns.
For some reason, the “R” is different on the Turkish poster as well as for the titles as well. The line for the “R” looks more condensed in the end titles than it does on the Turkish poster. I wonder why? How did they do that? Hmmm…
While Yasashii doesn’t have a lowercase, it comes with alternate forms for many capital letters. These can be accessed via OpenType features (Stylistic Alternates, Stylistic Sets). The sample below shows Yasashii Bold with default forms (top) and alternates (bottom).
