The first British edition of Philip K. Dick’s Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? was published by Rapp & Whiting in 1969. Lawrence Edwards’s cover art shows a sheep’s silhouette filled with a photograph of electric circuits. For the title, a bichromatic setting of Jim Crow has been used, center-aligned, with one word per line. On the spine of the jacket, it’s set in all-caps Folio Condensed. The names of author and publisher use two styles from Univers.
