rAinbowZ by Michael Arndt
rAinbowZ, the third in the M books: see + read series of early concept books, is a bold and vibrant board book which teaches the ABCs along with the ROYGBVs to help the youngest of readers on their path towards verbal and visual literacy. Each object in this 28-page book was chosen for its rainbow colors. No black ink was used in the entire book, except for the bar code on the back cover. The rest was printed simply with the C, M, and Y inks.
Neutraface is the official brand typeface for M books. It was chosen for its modern simplicity that is basic enough to be timeless, but has just enough flair to remind the reader of the origins of its inspiration in the iconic design of mid-century Americana, a golden age for children’s books and graphic design as well as home design and furnishings.
