Mister K. “The Synthesizer” AKA Mat Camison (b. 1941) “may be considered a precursor in the use of electronic synthesizers, progressive pop-rock and disco music.” “Louisiana” is an early single of his, released in 1972 on Vogue Records. Sleeve designer Thérèse Ruyant didn’t skimp on the colors, and combined Tip-Top, Futura Light, and Eurostile, all in all caps. See also her equally cheerful cover for Les Korrigans from 1974.
