Artwork and identity for Connessioni Sonore, an event imagined to give space to young local musicians and artists. From Matteo Evangelisti:

Connessioni Sonore is a musical event born in the province of Turin, Italy, in 2021. Music has always contributed to the renewal and evolution of the socio-economic fabric in which we live. The digital age has not only changed and upset our habits, but has also given impetus to the record industry and new generations of artists. And it’s for these reasons that Connessioni Sonore wants the music of the future to find its place in an always more digitalized and connected world.

The project was born to give value to the territory, its singers, its language and above all the music.

We can find those concepts in the visual identity and the communication, the latter is in fact mainly based on terms expressed strictly in Italian. The connection, which can be of different types: between people, corporeal, digital etc… is the base of the visual identity and its represented both with outline traces and with the images in the background of the posters. These images represent, with a graphic treatment, the different types of connections mentioned before. In this edition the main connection represented is the neuronal one.

The layout, instead, wants to represent the musical aspect of the event, not being static but showing blocks of text that dance inside the poster on a colorful background that changes from event to event.

Designed by Matteo Evangelisti and set in Galgo and Monument Grotesk.
