German sleeve for “Doctor’s Orders”, an early disco hit recorded by Carol Douglas (b. 1948) and released in 1974.

The uncredited designer used ITC Ronda Bold with several of its alternates, including the ones for A, a, e, and s. The official digital versions by ITC and Elsner+Flake cover the Regular weight only and neglect the alternates. Image Club once offered a digitization which has all three of the original weights, as well as most of the extras including alternates, ligatures, and biform glyphs. The inadequately loose spacing is its only flaw. Alas it is no longer available.
