Gilgamesch is a comedy in five acts by expressionist playwright Julius Maria Becker (1887–1949). This title page from a book published by the Verlag der Gesellschaft für Literatur und Bühnenkunst in 1928 uses Rudolf Koch’s Maximilian-Antiqua for the title. The line below is set in the bold weight of a typeface that originated at Wagner & Schmidt and went under various names, see Lipsia-Antiqua. In further roles: Tiemann-Mediäval and one of the German versions of Edina.
