At Plantain, we transform stories into beautiful, bespoke books.

When Joe approached us to help celebrate his mother’s life, he had the unusual idea of wanting to record her stories himself.

So we sent Joe a series of insightful questions to ask his mother (some of which he would never have thought of asking), and she sat with him for an hour, recounting anecdotes he had never heard before.

Joe sent us the recording and some pictures, and we transformed Angelica’s story into a beautiful little book with illustrations that will surely be celebrated for generations to come.
