Beef (2023) is an American comedy drama miniseries created by Lee Sung Jin for Netflix. It stars Steven Yeun and Ali Wong as two people whose involvement in a road rage incident begins to consume their lives. Appearing in supporting roles are Joseph Lee, Young Mazino, David Choe, and Patti Yasutake.

Beef features Balboa in opening and end credits, and over original artwork from artist and actor David Choe, who plays the character Isaac Cho in the series.

  1. Balboa is a great and often overlooked grotesque!

    To my knowledge, it doesn’t include an alternate G. Maybe the designers found Balboa’s G too unconventional and added a bar for “WONG”.

    @Florian Hardwig: Thanks for pointing out the G difference. Also the curves on the capital S have been calmed down quite a bit. I wonder whether they worked with Jim Parkinson himself on this.
