In this volume, art historian Roland Jaeger provides a comprehensive account of Karl Schneider’s Michaelsen Country House’s history in Hamburg-Blankenese at the beginning of the Neues Bauen movement and its diverse reception in contemporary specialist literature and the popular press. The book is published by Hamburg-based Schaff-Verlag, which specializes in architecture.
