This actually looks more like Chaney Extended instead of any font out of the Serpentine family.
Eric, Chaney appears to be a freeware knockoff of Serpentine and most likely did not exist in 1984 when the Kingworld logo was designed. This logo was probably made with phototype which could be stretched and manipulated like digital type. Or it was hand drawn based on the Serpentine typeface. That explains why it doesn’t match perfectly any digital font.
