Poster for the original release of the arcade game Pong in 1972. This was the first release from the newly formed Atari Corporation.

For what it’s worth, Blippo Bold probably is a copy of the earlier Burko by David L. Burke. Okay Type shared a showing of Burko’s Bold and Shady styles in the 1969 Chicago 2 CSCA/STA Annual. As far as I can tell, the letters PONG, among many others, are pretty much identical in Burko Bold and Blippo Bold.
